The annual Princess Tea is back after a hiatus last year due to work being done on the heating and cooling system at the Women’s City Club of Delaware. The event will take place today at the Women’s City Club “Castle” at 135 N. Franklin Street. There are two seatings: 1 to 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m. The cost is $25 for each princess and $20 for each chaperone.
Each princess at the Women’s City Club’s Princess Tea will get a royal portrait, be part of a royal procession, take part in an elegant feast, participate in fun crafts and activities, will learn princess etiquette and will be surprised with some very special guests. Chaperones will be allowed to be part of the event and will also receive a meal.
The WCC is a non-profit volunteer organization that has provided affordable transitional housing for women in our community for more than 60 years. All proceeds from this event go toward making repairs on the home.
Tickets are available online at wccdelaware.org
