Delaware police report:

A woman confronted her boyfriend at a bar on Lake Street Tuesday morning just after midnight. Police learned the couple had been living together but had gotten into a fight earlier in the day. The woman went to the bar to confront her boyfriend and struck him. The man declined to press charges and said he was not injured.

A man sent a threatening text message to his wife’s friend Tuesday. The victim told officers a friend is separating from her husband and was staying with him for a few days until the separation is final. However, while the man was at work Tuesday morning, he got a message from his friend’s husband, threatening him. Officers spoke to the husband and ordered him to have no more contact with the other man. No charges were filed.

A 16-year-old girl ran away from home Tuesday afternoon. The girl’s father called police from their Fieldcrest Drive home to report his daughter did not come home from school and likely ran away after an argument about her grades Monday night. The teen turned herself into the Delaware County Juvenile Court Wednesday morning and told officials she spent the night with some friends.
