Students returned to school on Wednesday in Delaware. First-graders in Jennifer Chiles’ class raised their hands after being asked if anyone was excited for their first day Wednesday morning at Smith Elementary School. Many parents accompanied their children to their first classroom to take photos and say goodbye.
