A lesson for teachers

Spencer Henry, an educational speaker and author, gave a presentation about developing a positive learning climate to Delaware City Schools teachers and administrators Wednesday afternoon during the school district’s “Summer Summit.” The event was attended by more than 150 teachers from the district who volunteered to come in and hear Henry speak about education. Henry lectured about a variety of topics, including building a foundation for students and how and when to take action. School officials said teachers were not paid to attend and their attendance was voluntarily.
