Delaware police report:

A husband and wife were arguing about their relationship Tuesday before 3 a.m. at their home on Joy Avenue. Police spoke to the couple and learned that both parties had been consuming alcohol. One party told police they were assaulted by the other during the argument but that was denied by the other party. Police separated the couple and the husband collected some belongings and left for the night. A report was taken but no charges have been filed.

A woman’s purse was stolen from her car Monday morning while it was parked at a Lead’s Head Start on Sunbury Road. The woman told police she lost many valuable items, including her identification and credit cards.Police have no suspects.

A woman was rushed to the hospital Monday night after she was found wrapping an air-conditioner cord around her neck at her home on South Henry Street. Police took her to Grady Memorial Hospital where she was given a mental health evaluation.
