Police officers were requested at Roop Brothers Bar Sunday just before 2 a.m. to deal with an intoxicated woman who threatened the bartender. Officers made contact with the woman in front of the nearby BP Station on East William Street. Officers report she was unstable on her feet, smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech. During the conversation, the woman aggressively grabbed the officer and became physically resistant. She told the officer she would not be arrested, but was eventually restrained and taken to the Delaware County Jail after being charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

An officer was responding to a call in the first block of South Sandusky Street when he saw a man punch another man in the face around 2:10 a.m. Sunday. The officer learned the assailant was drunk and the victim did not wish to press assault charges. However, the assailant was charged with disorderly conduct and released to a sober party.
