The Delaware Area Career Center Board of Education elected its board members at its organizational meeting Friday morning and re-elected Julie Wagner Feasel as board president.
This will be Wagner Feasel’s third term as president of the board. Wagner Feasel represents the Olentangy Local School District on the board.
Tom Kaelber was also elected vice president, replacing Jim Hildreth. Hildreth will continue to serve as a board member. Kaelber represents the Buckeye Valley School District and Hildreth represents the Big Walnut School District.
Ted Backus was also sworn in as a board member, replacing Harry Pape. Both members represent Delaware City Schools. Officials from the DACC said this is not the first time Backus has served on the board.
Finally, Ed Bischoff will continue to serve as a board member. Bischoff represents the Education Service Center of Central Ohio.
The first board meeting of the year will be Jan. 21 in the board room on DACC’s South Campus at 6:30 p.m.
