Delaware police report:

A criminal damaging report was taken Wednesday morning after it was discovered that city-owned flower pots were thrown over a bridge into the water. There are no suspects at this time.

A man walked into the police department lobby Wednesday afternoon and requested that officers arrest him. After speaking with the man, police determined he was experiencing a mental health issue and transported him to Grady Memorial Hospital.

A woman contacted police to report a child abuse incident in the area of South Houk Road. The woman reported that she witnessed a mother strike her child three times and snatch the toddler out of a car by her arm. The report was forwarded to Morrow County Children Services, since the alleged victim is from Mount Gilead.
