Delaware police department:

An arson investigation was started after three signs at the Mingo Park basketball court were burned over the weekend. The investigation is inactive pending further information.

Police were called to Certified Oil Saturday afternoon after employees reported a theft had occurred that day. Police reviewed security footage and observed a man take two cans of beer and leave the store without paying. An investigation is ongoing.

A resident in the 300 block of East William Street was cited Monday morning for letting their dogs run wild. Police report the resident has been cited several times before.

A criminal damaging report was taken at Roop Brothers Bar just after 1:35 a.m. Tuesday after employees reported the window on the main entry door was broken during an altercation. A report was taken but the investigation is inactive.
