Delaware Hayes students receive National Merit Scholarships


Miles O’Flaherty (left) and Carson Geissler, seniors at Delaware Hayes High School, hold their certificates announcing they are recipients of National Merit Scholarships. Both students said they were automatically entered into the running for the program after they scored high on their PSATs. The Delaware Board of Education will recognize the students for their achievement at tonight’s board meeting.
