Delaware police report:

A mother brought her child to the police station Thursday to report the daughter had been stabbed with a pencil by another student at Willis Intermediate School. A report was taken and forwarded to Willis’ school resource officer for investigation and follow-up. Police said the student was not injured by the pencil.

A bailiff at Delaware Municipal Court believed a man brought a weapon into the building Thursday morning. However, before he went through the metal detector, he left the building for a few minutes before returning to the lobby and going through the metal detector. No weapons were found by bailiffs.
