Delaware police report:

Officers were called to the CVS pharmacy on South Sandusky Street Sunday afternoon for the report of an assault. Police learned an adult male attempted to punch and successfully kicked his caseworker after he was told not to purchase an item. The man suffers from behavioral health issues and was placed under arrested and transported to the Delaware County Jail. Several items were knocked from the shelves during the incident, but there were no serious injuries.

The Delaware General Health District reported Thursday night that someone had put graffiti on two generators behind their building. The graffiti could not be erased or removed without damaging the generators so a criminal damaging investigation began. After an investigation, police arrested a 32-year-old man.

Police started an investigation at Kroger on Columbus Pike Friday evening after they learned someone had used a fake prescription to purchase cough medicine. There are no suspects at this time but the investigation is ongoing.

A traffic stop was conducted in the area of Columbus Pike Saturday night. During the course of the stop, officers used a K9 to search the vehicle and found narcotics in the car. The driver was issued a summons to appear in court for possession of drugs and then released.
