“Zoofari” returns to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell for the 45th consecutive year on Saturday, June 20, at 7:30 p.m.
The zoo’s premier, adults-only fundraiser includes samplings of signature dishes and libations from more than 100 central Ohio restaurants and bars and live entertainment from the Reaganomics, Jason Quicksall, The Street Players, Chapel Hill and more.
Attendees will venture through the zoo after hours enjoying live entertainment while savoring delicious cuisine and drinks from area restaurants, zoo officials said.
In addition to food and entertainment, the zoo will hold a “Jack’s Wild Ride” raffle for one lucky partygoer to win a 1968 Camaro convertible, they said. Tickets can be purchased online before Zoofari or during the event.
Due to the popularity of the event, a limited number of tickets are available for purchase. Zoofari tickets cost $150. VIP tickets are $300 per person and include valet parking, early access to Zoofari at 6:30 p.m. and special access to VIP areas as well as everything included in general admission.
For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.columbuszoo.org. Zoofari 2015 is presented by Nationwide and proceeds benefit the zoo’s conservation and education programs.
The zoo will close at 3 p.m. June 20 to set up for Zoofari.
To ensure a safe party for all, the zoo will be checking state-issued IDs at the zoo’s entrance, officials said.
