Delaware police report:

A neighbor intervened in a domestic dispute Tuesday just after 3:15 a.m. at an address on Georgetown Drive. The neighbor had contacted police and said he witnessed an assault taking place next door. The neighbor went next door to intervene and sustained minor injuries. The female victim initially denied any incident but later admitted she was assaulted during an argument with her boyfriend. The boyfriend was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.

Threats were made over Facebook Thursday night, a local woman said. A woman at 97 Lake St. showed officers several Facebook posts made by a man who appeared to be soliciting others to physically assault anyone who posted information about him. No charges were filed.

A stolen pickup truck was located in the parking lot of Stratford Commons Apartments complex Monday morning. Officers received a call from a Delaware County resident who reported seeing a family member’s stolen truck in the apartment complex parking lot. The truck had been stolen a week ago and witnesses said it showed up in the parking lot a few days later. Police contacted Delaware County sheriff’s deputies, who returned the truck to its owner. No arrests have been made.

A 16-year-old girl was reportedly to be unruly Monday afternoon. The girl’s mother told police she was acting belligerent, refusing to follow the rules at her home and unwilling to complete any requests from her mother. The mother and police filed an unruly juvenile report, and charges have been forwarded to Delaware County Juvenile Court.

A 37-year-old man said a family member took his car without his permission while it was parked at his home on Cottswold Drive Saturday night. The man sent messages to the family member, demanding the vehicle’s return but they were ignored. The car was returned several hours later.
