Preservation Parks of Delaware County has announced three upcoming programs:
• “Red, White & Bugs!” Sunday, July 5, 1 to 4 p.m. Celebrate the Independence Day weekend by searching for “patriotic” bugs along the trail. Free; all ages. Deer Haven Preserve, 4183 Liberty Road.
• “Thursday Evening Concerts: British Invasion.” Thursday, July 9, 7 to 8:30 p.m. This free concert will feature music from the 1960s. Bring chairs or blankets, and a picnic dinner if you wish. All ages. Gallant Woods Preserve, 2151 Buttermilk Hill Road.
• “Folk Songs around the Fire.” Friday, July 10, 8 p.m. Before radios came to the farm, people entertained themselves. Participants can bring their acoustic instruments for an old-fashioned song fest around the campfire.Songs from the 1930s as well as modern selections will be sung. Free; all ages. Gallant Farm, 2150 Buttermilk Hill Road, Delaware.
