Delaware police report:
Money was stolen from a donation box at Tim Horton’s drive-through window on West William Street Tuesday morning. Employees gave police a description of the vehicle and it was stopped on U.S. 23 South by Delaware County sheriff’s deputies. A woman was taken into custody and evidence was collected from the car. The woman was charged with theft, possession of criminal tools and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sexual misconduct between two juveniles was alleged Monday night. Police were told the encounter occurred while the two juveniles were in school. After an investigation, police determined the misconduct didn’t happen.
A drunk man was yelling at his wife outside his home on West Harrison Street Wednesday just before 1 a.m. Police spoke to both residents and learned the husband had consumed several alcoholic drinks throughout the night and had become disorderly. He was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and held at the city jail until sober.
A mother reported her son missing from their home on East Winter Street Wednesday at about 4:15 a.m. The mother told police her 20-year-old autistic son had left home around 8 p.m. and didn’t returned. She said she had tried to contact him but he wasn’t answering. Later in the morning, the mother contacted police to report her son had been found safe at some family property in Union County.
Powell police report:
An officer attempted to pull over a vehicle in the area of Sawmill Parkway and Rutherford Road Monday night. However, the suspect fled police but was arrested a short time later. The 20-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, reckless operation of a vehicle, left of center, consumption of alcohol while underage and failure to comply. He was taken to the Delaware County Jail.
