Delaware police report:

A woman reported an unsolicited letter at her business on Johnson Drive Monday afternoon. Police inspected a photocopy of the letter which contained information and statements about politics. There were no threats and the letter did not appear to be criminal in nature, police said. The woman said she was concerned because it appears the letter was sent randomly to the business and the intent was unknown. Police took a report to document the letter.

A bicycle was stolen from the Delaware library on East Winter Street Tuesday afternoon. A woman told police she saw a man ride off with the bike that afternoon. Police saw the bike in the area of Subway on South Sandusky Street later that evening and spoke to a juvenile boy. The victim came to the scene and identified the boy and the bike. The bike was returned and charges of receiving stolen property against the thief will be forwarded to Delaware County Juvenile Court.

A purse was stolen from an unlocked car while it was parked at a home on North Sandusky Street Tuesday night. The owner said the purse contained her wallet, gift cards, credit cards and cash. Police have no suspects.
