Delaware police report:

An 18-year-old man living on Knight Dream Street called police Wednesday afternoon to report that someone stole several items from his car.

A man was extremely intoxicated in the area of Central Avenue and Washington Street Wednesday afternoon. Police spoke to the man and said he was intoxicated to the point that he caused a risk to his own safety. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication and held until sober at the Delaware City Jail.

A garage door on Durham Lane was damaged Wednesday morning. The owner told police he believes he knows who did it and, after an investigation, a 30-year-old man was served with a summons for criminal damaging.

A Coach purse was stolen from an unlocked car parked in a garage on Knight Dream Street overnight Tuesday. The owner said the purse is worth $300.

Several items were stolen from an unlocked car parked on South Henry Street overnight Tuesday.

Items were stolen from numerous unlocked vehicles parked on Richards Drive overnight Tuesday. Police have no suspects.
