Delaware police report:

A son took his mother’s car without her permission at their home in the 200 block of South Sandusky Street Friday morning just after midnight. Police found the car and the 17-year-old son a short time later and returned both to the home. The boy was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A drunken man was asked to leave Final Score Sports Pub Friday night. The man had been asked to leave but refused. Police arrived and found the man to be intoxicated. The man told police he was homeless and had no sober party to whom he could be released. He was taken to the city jail and charged with disorderly conduct. While he was being booked at the city jail, he made suicidal statements and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for a behavioral health evaluation.

Police found a group of juveniles swimming in the Jack Florance Pool at Mingo Park after hours Friday night. Police took the juveniles into custody and released them to their parents later that night. Charges of trespassing were forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.

A skater was cited Friday night in the area of William Street and Sandusky Street. Police said the teenage skated through the intersection. He was cited for misuse of streets.

Children’s bicycles were stolen from a home on York Avenue overnight Friday. There are no suspects at this time.

Delaware County sheriff’s deputies report:

A report was taken at a residence on State Route 61 North on Aug. 10 after a family member gave marijuana to a juvenile.

Aurora Avenue residents reported that their neighbor placed dog feces in their yard and outdoor faucet. The residents reported their neighbor had also gone through their trash. A report was taken.
