Delaware police report:

A woman said her daughter went missing Monday afternoon. The mother told police her 14-year-old daughter called and requested a ride after school but, when the mother arrived at the designated meeting place, her daughter was not there. Officers began an investigation and learned the daughter might be in the company of a 17-year-old boy. Officers went to his house and learned that he had also not returned home from school. The juveniles later returned home and told officers they had been hanging out at various places throughout the city. Charges of unruly juvenile will be forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.

Two bicycles were stolen from a residence on West Winter Street overnight Sunday. The owner’s mother told police neither bike was locked and they were in the yard. The bikes were valued at $20 and $130.
