Singer-songwriter Angela Easterling will return to Delaware for a performance at the Delaware County District Library’s main branch, 84 E. Winter St., on Thursday, Sept. 24.
The 7 p.m. event is free to the public.
She performed at the library in the fall of 2012. “We got a fantastic response after he first concert,” said library spokeswoman Nicole Fowles, “so there was no question in bringing her back for this particular tour.”
She will be joined in the “listening room concert” performance by Brandon Turner, a longtime musical collaborator.
Easterling’s new album is called “Common Law Wife” which, she says, draws on traditional country, Americana and folk music.
Easterling lives with her partner and their toddler son on the Greer, South Carolina, farm that has been in her family since 1791.
