Delaware students enjoy end-of-the-day reading

Kenneth Dominguez and Zury de la Cruz, fourth-graders at Woodward Elementary School in Cassandra Bair’s class, read books before the end of the school day Wednesday afternoon. Bair gave the students the option of reading or working on a realistic fiction writing assignment. Dominguez also read a section of the book out loud to the entire class when discussing tornadoes and other types of inclement weather. The class was winding down the day after a field trip to Preservation Parks of Delaware County earlier in the day.
