Delaware police report:

A traffic stop was conducted in the area of South Sandusky Street and U.S. 23 Wednesday just after 1:30 a.m. Police searched the vehicle after suspecting drug use and found marijuana and pills. The driver was cited for possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. The investigation remains ongoing.

Items were stolen from a car at SourcePoint Saturday afternoon. Managers told police a man was observed via CCTV entering the car through a lowered window and stealing $50 and a pack of cigarettes.

A dog was running loose Wednesday afternoon in the area of Hayes Street. A woman was walking her dog when a neighbor’s dog began to charge her. The woman fell down and hurt her elbow while the neighbor’s dog attacked her dog. The victim told police this was not the first incident with the dog running loose but they had not been reported to police.

Eight credit cards were fraudulently opened in a 56-year-old man’s name. Police took an identity theft report Wednesday.
