Incumbent Scioto Township Trustee Thomas Brown has been defeated. Ralph Moseley will take a seat on the township’s board of trustees after Tuesday’s election.

In unofficial results, Moseley received 589 votes to Brown’s 466.

Moseley is a lifelong resident of the township. He retired after 33 years with Honda. He previously served on the township’s board of zoning appeals.

He said he decided to get in the race, he said, in order to try and help manage the growth he believes is coming to the township.
