Delaware police report:

A man was shoved at Queen’s Automotive Monday morning. An employee told police a man he knew entered the business and shoved him, causing him to fall over a piece of automotive equipment. The employee told police he was not injured and said he and the man were having a dispute about a vehicle the employee had sold him. Officers spoke to the suspect, who denied any intention to harm the employee but admitted to shoving him and claimed it was self-defense. A report was forwarded to the Delaware municipal prosecutor’s office.

Officers found a disabled vehicle in the area of 45 W. Winter St. on Oct. 21. Police learned the driver of the vehicle was wanted on an active arrest warrant in Tennessee for vehicle larceny and he was arrested. The investigation was closed on Monday when authorities in Tennessee declined extradition. He was released.

A man was found inside a woman’s car Tuesday just before 2 a.m. on Bruce Road. The owner of the car saw him and confronted him. After she yelled at the man, he left the area. The woman described the man as a white 18- to 20-year-old who is 5-foot-7 and weighs about 160 lbs. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. The woman reported that roughly $2 in change was missing from the car.
