Delaware police report:

$1000 in cash was stolen from a car wash on Columbus Pike overnight Thursday. A report was taken and the matter is under investigation.

Tools and a dolly were stolen from College Hunks Hauling Junk on Central Avenue Friday afternoon. The investigation is pending.

A car was stopped in the area of West Central Avenue Saturday morning for having only one tail light. However, during the stop the officer detected the odor of marijuana and after an investigation, the driver, a 25-year-old male, was charged with possession of marijuana.

A juvenile was caught trying to steal candy from Walmart Saturday afternoon. An employee spotted the juvenile and told the child’s mother. No charges were filed but a report was taken after the incident.

A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle Monday morning while it was parked at Byers Ford on Columbus Pike. Employees told police the car had been parked there since Nov. 16 so the theft must have occurred since then.
