Delaware police report:

A woman contacted officers regarding her recently deceased cat Tuesday morning. The woman said the cat’s unexplained death occurred on Dec. 24 and she believes a juvenile she knows is responsible. An investigation is ongoing.

A woman was punched in the face Tuesday night when she tried to pick up a friend living on Ohio Street. The woman said she arrived to pick up her friend but, while she was there, a man punched her in the face. She declined medical attention and did not have any signs of injury. An investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.

A woman was threatened at Speedway by a former coworker Tuesday night. The woman said she was shopping at the gas station when a man she knows made threats of physical harm and death to her. The man then left. The woman said the threats were due to an ongoing dispute over a debt. A warrant has been issued for the man’s arrest.

Officers responded to a fight at an apartment on North Washington Street Thursday morning just after midnight. A caller said two people had gotten into an argument and then a physical fight before leaving. While officers were investigating at the apartment, a 17-year-old was found drinking alcohol and was in possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was arrested on charges of prohibition and possession of drug paraphernalia, and taken to the juvenile detention center.
