Members of Galena Village Council held a reception before their December meeting for outgoing council member Nancy Feole.
Feole served 11 years on Village Council, beginning with an appointed seat in January 2005.
Feole served as council president in 2012 and on numerous committees including one year as a member of parks and special events, six years on the finance committee, nine years as a member of the security committee, and eight years as a member of the village zoning commission.
Feole was a member of the village sewer/streets/infrastructure committee for 11 years, and also represented the Galena on the Delaware General Health District Board for 11 years.
Galena Mayor Tom Hopper presented outgoing council member Nancy Feole with a certificate of recognition at the Dec. 14 Galena Village Council meeting. Feole served 11 years on Galena Village Council, beginning with an appointed seat in January 2005.
