Congressman Pat Tiberi has announced staff changes in his Washington congressional office and in the Office of the Vice Chairman of the Joint Economic Committee.
In November, House Speaker Paul Ryan appointed Tiberi, R-Galena, as vice chair of the Joint Economic Committee. The JEC’s primary tasks are to review economic conditions and recommend improvements in economic policy.
The changes include:

• Doug Branch, previously senior policy adviser with the Joint Economic Committee, will now be deputy staff director with the Office of the Vice Chairman.
• Breann González, originally from Bexley and previously communications director in Tiberi’s congressional office, will now serve as communications director for the Office of the Vice Chairman of the JEC.
• Brooks Keefer, originally from Reynoldsburg and previously a legislative assistant, will now serve as policy adviser in the Office of the Vice Chairman of the JEC.
• Matthew Kaido, originally from Zanesville and previously staff assistant, is now policy analyst in the Office of the Vice Chairman of the JEC.
• Olivia Hnat, originally from Cincinnati and previously with Speaker John Boehner’s congressional office, is now press secretary for Tiberi’s congressional office.
• Michael McLean, a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, is now senior legislative assistant in Tiberi’s congressional office.
• Abby Finn, originally from Westerville, is now legislative assistant in Tiberi’s congressional office.
• Michael Hess is now legislative assistant in Tiberi’s congressional office.
• Nate Zimpher, originally from Upper Arlington, is joining Tiberi’s congressional office and will serve as staff assistant.
“I’m fortunate to have such dedicated public servants, the majority from our great state of Ohio, on my team,” Tiberi said. “As vice chairman of the Joint Economic Committee, I’m excited to have the opportunity to bring on talented staff as we work to advance solutions to grow our economy and encourage job creation.”
Tiberi represents Ohio’s 12th District, which includes Delaware, Licking and Morrow counties, and portions of Franklin, Marion, Muskingum and Richland counties. He also serves as the chairman of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Health.
