Delaware police report:

A Dempsey Middle School’s student phone was damaged by a classmate Wednesday afternoon. The student’s mother came to the police lobby to report that during the school day, another student took her son’s phone and threw it on the floor, causing a dent and several scratches. An investigation is ongoing.

A woman pulled two people’s hair at Creative Foundations Tuesday afternoon. Officers learned a client became upset during a meeting and pulled two staff members’ hair. When taken into custody, the woman said she might hurt herself so she was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for a mental health evaluation. She was later charged with assault and taken to the Delaware County Jail.

A temporary tag was stolen from a car parked on London Road.

A worker at Associated Hygienic Products on U.S. 42 reported someone broken into his locker and took his wallet. An investigation is ongoing.
