The Olentangy wrestling team picked up a convincing OCC-Capital Division win Wednesday in its home gym, handling visiting Franklin Heights 67-6.

Xander Gore (145) forced his opponent to the mat in the first match of the night and the Braves never looked back. Other winners included, Nick Varanelli (120), Avery Flanagan (126), Brady Pethtel (132), Colton Doup (170), Rosales Flores (220) and Nathan Murphy (285).

Flanagan and Murphy joined Gore with pins while Doup won 5-4, Flores outlasted his opponent 15-14, Varanelli slipped past his 9-8 and Pethtel won 16-6.

Olentangy scored another 36 points via six forfeit wins.
