Liberty senior guard Alexa Fisher poured in a game-high 24 points, including the 1,000th of her stellar career, to lead her team to a lopsided 74-28 league win over visiting Central Crossing Friday in Powell.
Fisher, the program’s all-time leading scorer, connected on six three-pointers to pad her point total.
The Patriots led 27-5 after the first quarter and 48-10 at halftime. A 23-5 third punctuated the performance.
Bre Yashko backed Fisher with 17 points while Kennedy Kashmiry and Savitha Jayaraman added eight apiece.
Olentangy 54, Big Walnut 30
The Braves continued their dominance over OCC-Capital Division opponents Friday, using solid defense to cruise past the visiting Golden Eagles.
“I thought our defense was pretty good,” Olentangy coach John Feasel said after watching his team limit BW to seven or fewer points in three of the four quarters. “We turned it over too much — got a little sloppy with the ball — but I can’t complain when you win a league game by 20-plus points.”
Kelly Meade finished with 16 to lead the Braves, who improved to 12-2 overall and 9-0 in the league, while Emily Stephens, Celeste Clark and Gillian Feasel finished with seven points apiece.
New Albany 59, Orange 29
The Pioneers were outscored 12-5 in the first quarter and 19-2 in the second on the way to a league setback Friday in New Albany.
Meche’la Cobb poured in a game-high 21 points for the Eagles.
Worthington Kilbourne 59, Hayes 31
The Pacers battled early, but scored a combined 11 points in the second and third quarters as the visiting Wolves nabbed a lopsided league win Friday in Delaware.
Kilbourne outscored Hayes 29-11 in the middle two quarters to all but seal the deal.
Nine different Pacers scored in the setback, including Elishia Lowery, who finished with a team-best six.
