Delaware police report:

A man was screaming profanities in the area Fern Drive Tuesday evening. Officers spoke to several nearby people and learned that a guest of a Fern Drive resident had been yelling and making threatening statements. Officers spoke to the man, who shouted profanities at them. He was issued a summons for disorderly conduct and given a warning. Before officers could leave, he came back outside the apartment and continued to yell and make threats. He was warned again and, after ignoring officer’s warnings, he was taken into custody for persistent disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Delaware County Jail.

An officer stopped a car because it had no headlights in the area of West William Street Tuesday just after midnight. The officer identified the driver and passenger, and learned that the driver has an active protection order against the passenger. The passenger was taken into custody for violating the protection order and was transported to the Delaware County Jail.

Officers responded to a minor traffic collision on U.S. 23 North Tuesday morning. During the investigation, a male occupant of an involved vehicle repeatedly provided officers with false information, trying to conceal his real identity. Eventually, officers were able to discover his identity and he was arrested and charged with obstruction of official business and taken to the Delaware County Jail.
