Two men have been indicted by a Delaware County grand jury on gross sexual imposition charges.

Charles B. Hileman, of London, Ohio, and John J. Stueve, of Imperial Beach, California, were both indicted Friday by a grand jury on two counts of gross sexual imposition.

The charges against Hileman are third-degree felonies.

The charges against Stueve are fourth-degree felonies.

Delaware police say the cases are unrelated.

Hileman is charged in connection with alleged inappropriate contact with a girl who was younger than 13 at the time of the offense, Delaware police say.

An investigation began in June 2014 when Columbus police contacted Delaware police regarding a possible sex abuse case. School staff in Columbus told police that a student had disclosed that she had been touched inappropriately by an adult — who police allege is Hileman — while she was living in Delaware between 2006 and 2010. Court documents state that Hileman knew the girl’s age.

An arraignment for Hileman has not been scheduled yet in Delaware County Common Pleas Court.

In the other case, Delaware police report that a female juvenile came to the police department lobby to file a report in October 2014 and alleged she had been touched by Stueve several times between 2009 and 2014.

An arraignment for Stueve also has not been scheduled yet in common pleas court.

Several other individuals were indicted Friday by the grand jury. They include:

• Thomas W. Hubbard, 49, of Westerville, on two counts of domestic violence, which are fourth-degree felonies. He will be arraigned at 3 p.m. today in Delaware County Common Pleas Court.

• Corbin Reeder, of Columbus, on five counts of burglary, six counts of theft, a charge of safecracking and a charge of possessing criminal tools.

• Jeremiah A. Daughtery, of Cardington, on a charge of trespassing in a habitation and a charge of assault. Both are fourth-degree felonies. An arraignment has not been scheduled.

• Roseann N. Dingess, of Columbus, on a charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony. She will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. April 29 in common pleas court.
