Delaware police report:

A mother was having a fight with her 13-year-old daughter at the intersection of Cheshire Street and Rheem Street Wednesday night. Officers arrived and learned that the girl is under house arrest. The mother told them the girl had not been home for most of the day, in direct violation of the house arrest order, and when the mother eventually tracked her daughter down, she found her in the company of a male acquaintance. The mother told police she asked her daughter to come home but the girl refused. Eventually, officers spoke to the juvenile court and the daughter was ordered into custody. She was transported to the juvenile detention center and charges were forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.

A woman was found to be in possession of hypodermic needles during a traffic stop on Ross Street Wednesday night. Police pulled the car over for a traffic violation and, during a search of the car, the needles were discovered. She was arrested and charged with possession of drug abuse instruments before being taken to the Delaware County Jail.
