Delaware police report:

The AMVETS Post 104 on London Road was broken into overnight Wednesday and several items were stolen. Several thousand dollars in cash, several TVs, karaoke equipment and bottles of expensive liquor were among the stolen items. Police have no suspects.

A shed was broken into on Canal Street sometime between Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon. The owner reported tools and other items were stolen from the shed.

A gun was stolen from a car while it was parked on Cheshire Street in November 2015. The owner reported the gun stolen Thursday afternoon. An investigation is ongoing.

Delaware County sheriff’s deputies report:

A scam was attempted Wednesday at a home on State Route 521 in Kingston Township. A man claiming to work for UPS called and tried to get the residents of the home to send UPS money. However, no money was sent and one of the residents called the sheriff’s office.
