Delaware police report:
Officers were called to Delaware Hayes High School Tuesday morning to deal with an unruly student. The school resource officer said the student, a freshman, was creating a disturbance, swearing and engaging in “turbulent” behavior. He was escorted from the building by his juvenile probation officer. The probation officer said he had been called to the school a number of times for disruptive behavior, failure to follow directions and violating school rules. A report was forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.
Police conducted a well-being check at a home in the 200 block of South Sandusky Street. A trash collector reported that people were living in deplorable conditions at a trailer in the mobile home park. Officers investigated and said that the trailer was not suitable for habitation. Police said there were large amounts of trash, a leaking roof and non-working bathroom facilities, and noted the trailer was so full of items that fire exits were blocked. The city inspector was contacted for a follow-up.
