Delaware police report:

Officers were sent to investigate a suspicious person in the area of 140 N. Sandusky St. Saturday night. Police found a 56-year-old intoxicated man in the area. After determining he could not care for himself, he was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

An Ohio Wesleyan University student was in possession of marijuana Sunday afternoon at Welch Hall. Police were contacted by campus security. The male student was charged with possession of marijuana.

Three teenagers were caught stealing merchandise from Wal-Mart Friday afternoon. Police charged the three boys with theft and released them to their parents. The theft charges were forwarded to Delaware County Juvenile Court.

A man was receiving threats from another man via text-messaging Friday night at his home in the 100 block of East Central Avenue. The man said he and his girlfriend had been getting harassing messages from an acquaintance that day. An investigation is ongoing.
