The Olentangy Liberty boys lacrosse team picked up its second straight lopsided win in as many days, shutting down visiting Mason 12-3 Saturday in Powell.

The defense didn’t allow Mason to get many shots off, but when one did slip by, goalies Cameron Finley and Thomas Fitzgerald were up to the task. Finley stopped five shots while Fitzgerald had a pair of saves in the win.

The Patriot offense was boosted by Griffin Hughes, who scored four goals. Coupled with the big night he had in Friday’s win over Hudson, the junior has found the back of the net 10 times in his last two games.

Ethan Garland, Johnny Wiseman and Vincent Ramondelli were also solid, finishing with a pair of goals apiece.

Also: Olentangy 7, Orange 5.

GIRLS LACROSSE

The Olentangy Orange girls lacrosse team picked up a hard-fought win Saturday, outlasting visiting Zionsville 7-6 in Lewis Center.

Carly Vroom and Kailey Collett paced the Pioneer offense with two goals apiece.

Grace McAninch finished with eight saves in the Orange goal.

Also: DeSales 12, Liberty 6.
