The second annual “Running with the Roses” fundraiser to benefit Stockhands Horses for Healing will be on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Glenross Golf Club, 231 Club House Drive.

Participants can enjoy food and drinks while watching a live stream of the Kentucky Derby. Derby attire is encouraged, say organizers.

Approximate post time is 6:24 pm.

A $40 entry ticket includes hors d’oeuvres, restaurant food samplings and two drink tickets, with additional drink tickets available for purchase. There will also be a silent auction, door prizes, a portrait hat contest and a 50/50 drawing.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Stockhands Horses for Healing, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing equine-assisted therapies to veterans, adults and children with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities.
