Uehlein’s 4 goals lead Liberty past Solon

Grant Uehlein poured in a game-best four goals, nearly outscoring host Solon by himself as the Olentangy Liberty boys lacrosse team rolled to a 15-4 win Saturday afternoon.

Vincent Ramondelli added a hat trick while Johnny Wiseman and Eric NeCamp added two goals apiece. Ethan Garland, Alex Lando, Griffin Hughes and Ryan Dertinger also scored to smooth out the scoring summary.

Cameron Finley finished with four saves in the Patriot (12-4) goal.

Buckeye Valley 17, Eagles LC 2

The Barons picked up their fifth straight win and sixth in their last seven games with a lopsided win over Eagles LC Saturday in Delaware.

Carson James led Buckeye Valley with a game-best five goals while Trent Slavik, Andy Nero and Zach Garber finished with three apiece.

Nathan Heiser found the back of the net twice and Gabe Zimmerly scored once in the win.

Nick Gerold and Bryce Love split time in the Baron goal, collecting a combined three saves.

Olentangy 10, Shadyside (Pa). 1

The Braves picked up their second win in as many days Saturday, scoring three goals in each of the first three quarters on the way to a win over host Shadyside.

Kyle Milliron, Cam Kennedy, Evan Standerwick and Patrick Grubb scored two goals apiece while Riley Bruening and Shane Hershiser finished with one each.

Charlie Harkin anchored the defense with seven saves in the Olentangy goal.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Madison Rapier scored a game-best four goals to lead Liberty to a solid 14-7 win over rival Olentangy Saturday in Lewis Center.

Mollie McCormack, Molly Bursinger, Grace Buckey, Madison Gouhin and Ali Tomsho backed Rapier with two goals apiece while Ellie Corder finished with 10 saves in the Patriot goal.

Maddie Garner and Elise Harder led the Braves with three goals apiece while Dana Stover had the other tally.
