Delaware police report:

A man was sleeping in a car in front of an address on Dunlap Street Tuesday morning. Police spoke to the man and learned he was in town to meet a person he met over the internet. However, officers learned the person he was meeting is a juvenile, although it was unclear if the man knew that, police said. No charges were filed. Police said it is unclear if a criminal offense occurred.

A 59-year-old man on Lantern Chase Drive reported his home and car were egged overnight Monday. Police have no suspects.

A wallet was left in a shopping cart and subsequently stolen Wednesday afternoon at Kroger on Columbus Pike. The owner told police the wallet and its contents were worth $105. Police have no suspects.

Powell police report:

Rotten bananas were thrown into a resident’s driveway on Rutherford Estates Drive on multiple occasions, residents told police Tuesday. Police are investigating the incidents as a “hate crime.”
