The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged child enticement and is seeking the public’s help to identify the suspect.
The incident occurred about 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20 on Alisons Street in Lewis Center. A 9-year-old girl was playing outside when a man approached her from inside his vehicle, asking her if she wanted candy. The girl ran away and notified nearby adults.
The suspect is described as a male, black, about 30 years old. The vehicle is described as a gray sedan, possibly a 2000 model Honda Accord.
