Annual Castle Arts Affair

The annual Castle Arts Affair will take place at the Delaware County Cultural Arts Center, 190 W. Winter St., from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. There will be a preview party Thursday at 6 p.m. but reservations are required.

Admission is free. More than 100 local artists offer a wide variety of unique items during the sale such as glass, pottery and woodcarvings. The event benefits the Arts Castle, a non-profit community arts center serving Delaware County. For information, visit www.artscastle.org or call 740-369-2787.

Cartoonist at Fundamentals

Local author and cartoonist Rolf Remlinger will sign copies of his 2016 collection “Hockey Daze: Hockey Comics” at Fundamentals, 25 W. Winter St., 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday. The book features 25 years of hockey hilarities and trivia.

OWU Opera event

Ohio Wesleyan’s Opera Theatre presents a guest performance of “Mozart on the Move,” featuring highlights from Mozart’s operas “The Marriage of Figaro,” “Così fan tutte,” and “The Magic Flute” sung in English, in Jemison Auditorium inside Sanborn Hall, 23 Elizabeth St., Delaware. OWU showcases a cappella groups

Ohio Wesleyan University’s Campus Programming Board will host the fourth annual “A Cappellooza” voices-only showcase at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 in Gray Chapel in University Hall, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware. Tickets to A Cappellooza may be purchased at the door. The cost is $5 for general admission and $2 for children 12 and under, non-OWU students with valid student IDs and senior citizens.

Community leaders to visit Olentangy middle school

More than a dozen Ohio community leaders will visit Olentangy Berkshire Middle School students to discuss how they use writing and communication in their various career fields at the school, 2869 3 B’S & K Road, 8 a.m. Friday. The “Write Like A Boss Day” lesson is intended to help students connect what they are learning to how it will help them in the outside work force.
