Taj Marcus Easley, 21, of Columbus; Cedrik Deshon Donnally, 20, of Hilliard and Cody Alexander Gregory, 23, of Columbus were indicted by a Delaware County Grand Jury on Feb. 17.

The trio was charged with one count of aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony; aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony and two counts of kidnapping, second-degree felonies.

Additionally, Easley and Gregory are also charged with first-degree felony aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery charges and two second-degree felony kidnapping charges.

Delaware police report that on Aug. 13, 2016 the trio forced their way into an apartment on Forest Brooke Way and held the residents at gunpoint. According to police, the men stole $5,000 cash, a safe, jewelry and several cell phones before leaving.

According to the indictment, on Sept. 16, 2016 Easley and Gregory returned to the apartment, held the residents against their will and stole $200 cash, a television, a car part and an Xbox 360 before leaving again.

The first set of charges that the trio faces carry firearm specifications, which stipulate that a firearm was used to commit the crime. According to the Ohio Revised Code, this specification would add additional prison time to any sentence.

Police report that the burglaries were not random and said the trio knew the victims.

Arraignments in Delaware County Common Pleas Court have not yet been set for the trio. Delaware County Common Pleas Judge David Gormley will preside over the case.

According to the Ohio Revised Code, the prison term for each of the first-degree felonies is between three to 11 years in prison. The second-degree felonies carry prison terms of between two to eight years.
