Railroad crossings to re-open

The Horseshoe Road railroad crossing between Case Road and U.S. 42 North closed for crossing maintenance April 27 and is scheduled to open Friday, May 12, weather permitting.

The Cheshire Road railroad crossing for Norfolk Southern Railroad between Gregory Road and Balmoral Drive closed April 25 for crossing maintenance. It is scheduled to open Thursday, May 11, weather permitting.

Road work planned

US 23 south will be reduced to one lane at Central Avenue Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for overhead sign work removal and installation. The ramp from US 23 south to Central Avenue will also be reduced to one lane.

State Route 203 will be reduced to one lane of two-way traffic between SR 37 in Delaware County and SR 47 in Marion County Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for pavement repair and resurfacing. Completion: June 16.
