We would like to recognize Genti Koci, owner/general manager of Opa Grill & Tavern, 18 S. Sandusky St., for graciously allowing Preservation Parks of Delaware County to promote its Ice Age exhibits in a Downtown storefront he owns at 22 S. Sandusky St.

His support of our countywide parks system is just one example of his community spirit. And that spirit is reflected in the vibrant richness and diversity of all the owners and businesses in our historic Downtown.

This small example of cooperation between business and the community at large mirrors the importance of nurturing our home-grown businesses and preserving natural spaces throughout the county. By doing so, we will improve the quality of life for all our residents.

As parks volunteers and longtime Delaware residents, we appreciate the benefits of a thriving Downtown and an array of beautiful, close-to-home county parks.
