Delaware police report:

• Officers responded to a home on West Central Avenue on Tuesday around 3:15 a.m. after an assault was reported. Police learned an adult male was experiencing a behavioral health issue and had assaulted his legal guardian. The man was reportedly upset over people visiting for the holidays, resulting in changes to his routine. The victim reported only minor injuries. An investigation remains open.

• Police were summoned to the Kohl’s store on Sunbury Road on Tuesday afternoon after it was reported that a woman was in the store after having been warned not to return. Officers made contact with the woman, who acknowledged that she had been warned, but thought the warning had expired. She was issued a summons for criminal trespassing.

Delaware County sheriff’s deputies report:

• A report was taken Friday evening on State Route 37 West after a vehicle drove into the east side of a garage causing serious damage to the garage. The vehicle left the scene without contacting law enforcement or leaving the homeowner proof of insurance. An investigation is ongoing.

• Deputies took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Friday evening in the area of Oak Village Boulevard. ID cards, quarters, a debit card, and a wallet were stolen from the vehicle.
