The Delaware Christian boys golf team continued its hot start to the season, bumping its dual-meet record to a perfect 6-0 with a victory over visiting Tree of Life Tuesday at Mill Creek.
The Eagles fired a combined 182 — their lowest round yet.
Nathan Stewart led the way with a 37. Mitchell Smith (45), Dayne Johnson (50) and Pryce Johnson (50) also chipped in.
GIRLS GOLF
The Buckeye Valley girls golf team fell a few strokes short of victory, but did collect a pair of personal bests in Tuesday’s 206-213 loss to visiting Fairbanks at Oakhaven.
Kirsten Fridley fired a personal-best 52 while Madison Lowe finished with a personal-best 63. Mackenzie Furches and Emily Longworth also scored for the Barons, finishing with 49s.
GIRLS TENNIS
The Big Walnut girls tennis team picked up a league win Tuesday, sweeping away visiting Franklin Heights 5-0.
BW winners included Lindsay Hill (6-0, 6-0 at first singles), Lindsey Stevens (6-0, 6-1 at second singles), Kina Ehlers (6-0, 6-0 at third singles), the duo of Ciara Matos and Allyson Stevens (6-0, 6-0 at first doubles) and Hannah Kaiser and Ava Boldizar (6-0, 6-0 at second doubles).
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
The Big Walnut girls volleyball team picked up a key OCC win Tuesday, handling visiting Canal Winchester 25-11, 25-19, 25-18.
Golden Eagle standouts included Mac Podraza, who finished with nine kills; Kaley Rammelsberg, who collected eight kills; and Sammie Bickley, who had a team-best four aces in the win.
Olentangy Berlin 3, Hilliard Darby 1
The Bears picked up their first win in front of the home fans Tuesday, knocking off visiting Hilliard Darby in four sets.
Berlin won the first set 25-14 and, after dropping the second 19-25, won the third and fourth by respective scores of 25-19 and 25-20 to seal the deal.
Worthington Kilbourne 3, Delaware Hayes 1
Sydney Krewson finished with 10 kills and Anna Johnson and Hadlee Bruns added nine apiece, but it wasn’t quite enough as the visiting Wolves escaped with a league win Tuesday in Delaware.
Kilbourne won the first set 25-18 and, after Hayes took the second 25-21, won the third and fourth by respective scores of 25-21 and 25-22.
GIRLS SOCCER
Four different players found the back of the net and the defense collected its second shutout of the season as the Olentangy Liberty girls soccer team rolled to a 5-0 win over host Newark Tuesday night.
Laura Bichsel scored twice to lead the way. Victoria Susi, Emma Lindsey and Rachel Davidson also scored in the win.

BOYS SOCCER
Blake Collins scored a pair of first-half goals to set the tone as the Olentangy Liberty boys soccer team rolled to an 8-0 win over host Newark Tuesday night.
Jaggar Brooker also scored an early goal for the Patriots, who were proud owners of a 3-0 lead at halftime.
Graydon Shook, Liam Garcia, Sam Bonanno, Jack Cruise and Nick Stack each scored second-half goals to smooth out the scoring summary.
Olentangy 1, Hilliard Davidson 0
Josh Gernert scored with 3:44 left in the first half and the defense made sure it held up as the Braves picked up a solid non-league win over the visiting Wildcats Tuesday in Lewis Center.
Grant Robinson had three saves en route to recording the shutout.
The win bumps Olentangy’s record to a solid 5-0-1. The Braves have either beaten or tied four of the top 11 teams in Central District polls.
