An investigation is ongoing after a Waldo teen was killed in a crash over the weekend.
The Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported Saturday that at approximately 12:08 a.m. on April 1, Bobby L. Brown, 19, of Waldo, was traveling north on state Route 257 north of Donovan Road in Thompson Township in his 2008 Hyundai Tiburon.
Troopers report that Brown’s vehicle travelled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Brown was pronounced dead at the scene by Delaware County EMS personnel.
The post reported that Brown was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and alcohol is not a suspected factor for the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Scioto Township Fire Department and Radnor Fire and EMS.
The crash remains under investigation.
